Getting Your Menu Online: Menu Links & QR Codes
The final step to going live. Learn how to manage your Menu Links, customize QR Codes, and share your menu across all digital channels.
Now that your Master Catalog is built and your items are configured, the final step in the Tappya Quickstart is making your menu accessible to the world.
Navigating to Menu Links
Your journey to a live menu begins in the Tappya dashboard. Locate the Catalog section in the left-hand sidebar and select Menu Links.
Branding Your QR Codes
A QR code shouldn't just be a tool; it should be an extension of your brand. Tappya allows you to fully customize the look and feel of your codes.
Dot & Corner Styles
Move beyond standard square pixels. Choose from rounded, classy, or modern styles.
Brand Colors
Customize the Dot Color and Background Color using your restaurant's specific brand palette.
Flexible Exports
Download your code as specific high-resolution formats:
- PNG for social media and web.
- PDF for high-quality printing on table tents and window stickers.
Configuring the "Link Bridge"
Think of a Menu Link as a bridge that connects your customer to a specific experience.
1. Define the Link Type
Choose how the customer interacts:
- Digital Menu: Browsing only (no checkout).
- Online Ordering: Full pickup/delivery flow.
- Dine-In: Ordering from a specific table number.
2. Connect Your Branches
Select which physical location (branch) and which specific menu from your catalog this link should display.
Example: Create a "Lunch Menu" link for your Downtown branch and a "Late Night" link for Uptown.
3. Theme & Design
Preview the mobile-optimized experience to ensure your logo, banner, and colors are perfectly aligned with your branding before saving.
Going Live & Sharing
Once your configuration is saved, sharing your menu is as simple as a single click.
Copy your direct link and paste it into your Instagram bio or Facebook "Order Now" button.
Add your menu link to your Google listing to capture customers searching in your area.
The Customer Experience
When customers scan or click, they see a beautiful, mobile-optimized menu. They can explore categories, view professional AI-generated photos, and read descriptions automatically translated into their language.
Pro-Tip: Multi-Branch Management
If you have multiple locations, remember that you can create unique Menu Links for each one. This ensures that when a customer orders a "Double Patty Burger," the order goes directly to the kitchen at the correct branch.
